was it ever fixed?...i was looking through the version history file but didn't see anything?

Why do skills modifications donīt seem to affect the bots ?

Some posts in this forum suggested that the skill loading in PB is broken (couldnīt verify this so far). A posted workaround was to only use and tweak the 0-19 skills which seems to work for those people.

It's true since podbot2.0. At the same forum I explained the problem. You can look here some discussion about this:

Austin was too, in this discussion.
I forgot simply about this, because now I use this great botaim plugin made by PMB. Now I' dont use the botskill less than 100 , so because this I simply forgot this problem.

Well, well... now THAT's really interesting. KWo, I just copied your botskill settings and will test them tonight... would be great if this works.
A friend of mine just tested PMB's new dll on de_dust 2 (he and 7 bots, i.e. 4 on 4) with botskills 60-100 - and he scored 50:5 8o ...
Let's see if he still scores like that with the new botskill settings, har, har! 8D

If turning speed is not "hard" implemented yet in the bot's code, You should see some results, but I think all I described 2 years ago maybe was not 100% true (not because I lied, but only because I didn't have so much time to test all skill parameters).
I remember there was a mistake inside my parameters written by me in this botskill.cfg (max and min turnspeed for one range of bot was max<min) - check all of this.

Yes, there were two "skill groups" where you got min and max turnspeed mixed up. I changed that in my cfg.
I'm not sure about the effect because I did several things at the same time. I removed two plugins (PodFix and BotAim) and added the new botskill.cfg instead. But I do have the impression that the bots got better.
I guess I'll fiddle around with the turnspeeds some more to make them challenging but natural... anyway, this botskill issue deserves some attention, I think.

Now I checked in the same way, like 2 years ago, the parameters called in podbot26mm (I found ASCII strings) - what I can see - there are only called these parameters of botskill:
SEEN_SHOOTTHRU
HEAR_SHOOTTHRU
HEADSHOT_ALLOW
MAX_DELAY
MIN_DELAY

so when You change another parameters (AIM_X,Y,Z, MIN,MAX_TURNSPEED) it doesn't work probably, but we have to ask some of coder to confirm this.
This is probably hardcoded.
Ask SF to add to TO DO LIST this issue.

it is at the end of the list. this list has nothing to do with numerical priority.......i add to the end of the list because it was the last thing i found to add......if someone can fix problem 6 before fixing problem 1, thats perfectly ok.

the list is just to keep track of what we need to tackle as a whole
