Personally, I favor a func_platform for elevators.
It's what was designed to be elevators, so why not use it ?
Of worthy note:
ALWAYS assign a player damage value of 1 for elevators, otherwise you can be stuck on them, indefinately.

Re. The Map:
Good choice of textures, for the most part, but the lighting needs a LOT of work.
Great start though.

My o my... i recently got a new game, Black And White, and unlike most games besides half-life and some others, it impressed me in the first 30 seconds of play! Im soo stuck on it im too busy to work with my precious map! Give me a few days and ill try to get back to work tho . Thanks for the support. This map will get pretty darn big i think....
