Default (Seemingly) Random crashing - 12-04-2005

Joe bot is working great for me, and they are the most human-like bots i've ever played with... however, I'm having trouble with them after my server hasing been running for a long period of time.

I am running CS 1.5 on hlds 3.1.1.1 on fedore core 3
I had the same problem like a year ago on rh9, and i gave up and uninstalled my server completely.

here's the mods that I am running.

Currently loaded plugins:
description stat pend file vers src load unlod
[ 1] AMX RUN - amx_mm_i586.so v0.9.9 ini ANY ANY
[ 2] STATSME RUN - statsme_mm_i386. v2.8.3 ini Chlvl Chlvl
[ 3] CSStats RUN - csstats_mm_i586. v0.9.9 ini ANY ANY
[ 4] Fun RUN - fun_mm_i586.so v0.9.9 ini ANY ANY
[ 5] VexdUM RUN - VexdUM_mm_i586.s v0.9.9 ini ANY ANY
[ 6] JOEBOT RUN - joebot_mm_i386.s v1.6.5.2 ini Chlvl Pause
6 plugins, 6 running

After a long period of time, the server just stops responding to anything. I can't connect, can't issue any commands (can't even type into the server console), and all I can do is just ctrl+C to kill it. I'm running it now with the -debug to see if it gives any helpful information.

I set the following values in my server.cfg and my server has been up since I left last night.

mp_roundtime 2.5
mp_autokick 0
mp_autoteambalance 0
mp_limitteams 0

It seems like it's fixed, but I don't know if was one of those, or just coincidence, but for now it seems like it's working. (mp_autokick 0 was a must because my bots were getting kicked sometimes, so maybe that had something to do with the crashing?)

Ok, so it isn't fixed... did it again

I came home and these were the last few lines on the console:

L 04/13/2005 - 05:54:25: "[m00p]Buck<30><0><CT>" killed "[MooP]br3ad<29><0><TERRORIST>" with "mp5navy"
L 04/13/2005 - 05:54:28: "[m00p]Buck<30><0><CT>" killed "[M00P]SmArT<31><0><TERRORIST>" with "mp5navy"
L 04/13/2005 - 05:54:28: Team "CT" triggered "CTs_Win" (CT "8") (T "4")
L 04/13/2005 - 05:54:28: World triggered "Round_End"

It was no longer responding to any keys. After a Ctrl+C it showed:

Wed Apr 13 16:56:12 EDT 2005: Server Quit

(Notice that was 11 hours after the last entry in the log)

I believe so.... JoeBOT 1.6.5.3?

I'll try disabling all of my plugins tonight to say if there's a conflict somewhere... If I that doesn't help, I think I'll just set up a cron task to restart the server every 6 hours or so.
