Far Cry Demo

anyone has played the Far Cry demo yet?
it just looks awsome , there is just one little problem....... where do i get the money for a new vid-card 8o,
me wants to play at high detail but my raddie 8500 wont pull it ...snif....

my 9600 goes slow on the far cry demo.. however.. i didnt like it.. the gfx is cool and everthing.. but the load time is deadly and it wasnt that fun at all.. the ai felt really bad.. they run around, sometimes it seem like they didnt know what they were doing.. the weapons were kinda boring i must say when it comes to aim shooting sound and so on.. and on top of it all .. no feeling.. atleast no good feeling..

i liked to take the boat for a ride though..
when it comes to judgin games, design in general i can be very hard.. and its up to taste too.. i dont need the gfx.. but to me it wasnt enough.. you might like..

i use p4 1.6
256 ram
radeon 9600 128mb

a bit laggy though

gfx is almost everything it got.. my personal thought..

the screenshots are from the futuremark forum and are taken by different people.

it runs smooth on my r8500 and xp2800 (@2300mhz), that is with all settings low , looks still great doh...
