CS 1.6+PODBot+(mEAn) Bot.Admin Mod

Ok. I need help of installing and setting up CS 1.6, PODBot, and any (mEAn) Bot.Admin Mod version that supports CS 1.6.

Now I have Steam installed (thanks to HL2). I need to get CS 1.6 first. Now here's a question. Can I run CS 1.6 WITHOUT Steam? Or do I need Steam?
Another question. What engine does CS 1.6 use? The source engine, or another 1?

And now, for bot support. I want to play with the PODBot because it's the best dang bot I know of for Counter-Strike. What version do I need? PODBot 2.6? Will I need metamod for this?

And lastly, a working (mEAn) Bot.Admin Mod version that supports CS 1.6. According to their site, the BETA version of 5.50.13 will also work for CS 1.6 as well as CS 1.5. Is this true?

It's just... I don't wanna screw up. I wanna get this installed and setup RIGHT, the FIRST time.

Yes, You do need steam. There is CS1.6 non-steam version, but it's warrez - so it isn't supported here.

It use HL1 engine.

As I know the latest official version supports CS1.6, but I know nothing about beta (haven't tested it). You need to wait for botmeister (author of mEAn). Or just read a bit around in the mEAn forum.

Thanks for helping me out, dude! I'm just tired of getting pwned in CS:S and I want a GOD Mode cheat. Since there's no (mEAn) Bot.Admin Mod for CS:S, I'll have to go with CS 1.6.

You don't need to use mEAn to have god mode. Use AMX or AMX X and search for plugins at those borads called godmode.
Another thing is this - using podbot mm You can choose a skill bots will play - so maybe You iwll find some skill good for You for which You will not need godmode, but You will be better than Your bots.

Hmmm... And these "AMX" and "AMX X" plugins, work for CS:S, or CS 1.6?

Ok. Well there might be 1 last hope of having a god mode in CS:S. I'm trying to get info of this "Mani Admin Plugin" that looks simular to the (mEAn) Bot.Admin Mod.
If it doesn't have a god mode, then I guess I have no choice, then to go with CS 1.6. :-/
(either that or just live with the fact I can't cheat. >)

I don't know if is there already any fun mod available for CS:S (with some functionality AMX has). Probably not yet, because Valve still refuses to give the info about interface of HL2.

1 last question, about PODBot 2.6. There's 2 problems I hated with the PODBot, that have been "fixed" with the Sourcebot.
1. CT Bots stealing my hostages.
2. The constant "Follow me." and "Cover me." radio commands they do EVERYTIME a round is about to start.

Are these fixed in PODBot 2.6?

Another question I just noticed. I found CS 1.6 at Fileplanet,

This file includes the full cache of data required to run Half-Life v1.1.2.0 and Counter-Strike v1.6 in the Steam client.

That will disable the HPB_bot from working!! :'( Botman didn't make the HPB_bot compatiable with this v1.1.2.0 version. ... :-/ TFC would be useless if I upgraded.

Where can I find JUST CS 1.6? ... Or do you NEED this HL1 Engine Upgrade to play CS 1.6?
And I do not want to have to get the metamod version of the HPB_bot.
