Opposing Force Newbie Bot Query

OK I was wondering what bot program works for Opposing force?

Which do you prefer?

Are you talking about Opposing Force deathmatch or Opposing Force CTF (Capture The Flag) ?
Anyway, the HPB_bot supports both.
There might also have other bots which support Opposing Force (either deathmatch or CTF) but I don't remember them all. The RACC preview supports Opposing Force deathmatch. But if you want a bot that really does CTF, go with the HPB_bot

I'm not sure if it still works with the latest engine version or not (it was updated in Nov. 2003 so it probably does).

I have a retail version of Opposing forces 1.0. I take it there is an update for it. Could you direct me to it?

for updates about Half-Life and Opposing Force, head up to www.planethalflife.com and look in the "Files" section. You must first download the latest update to the Half-Life engine (since Opposing Force is based off the Half-Life engine) and then download the update to Opposing Force itself. These are quite big files so I hope you've got DSL

and dont forget the great para bot ..it works in deathmatch and team deathmatch mode only..but it is the best bot for opposing force and half life imao
