Default Question? - 19-06-2004

I already use IvpBot for Coutnerstrike 1.6, But I was wondering if the same version would work on 1.5 as well? If not, what version do I need? And where can I find it, if possible? ??? Any help or info on this matter will be greatly appreciated. (PODbot sucks, thats what I'm using for 1.5) I like Ivpbot much better. They're actually smart.

Heyyo,

Yes, IvPbot works in both CS v1.6 and v1.5 I've had np using the bots with either version.

The only prob might be the waypoints, cause in CS v1.6, they updated some of the maps, throwing off the waypoints. So if the bots keep trying to run through walls, you might wanna get waypoints for it.

I belive the waypoints included with the bot are meant for CS v1.5, but I'm not sure if it's like that for all maps... I know for sure that the DE_Aztec waypoints are for CS v1.5, I made some IvPbot CS v1.6 waypoints for DE_Aztec if you want em'. They're at me website: http://www.freewebs.com/mard_lltd/

And dude, don't knock off PODbot, for if it wasn't for PODbot other bots such as IvPbot, E[POD]bot, PODbot v2.6mm, YAPB, PODbotmbn, NICEbot, and a few other bots wouldn't exist. Cause these bots are based of the PODbot source code. Heck, the maker of Zbot, the official CS: CZ bot was created by the maker of PODbot.

Wow, I didn't know that so many bots came from PODbot. I guess one of the reasons that I really didn't like PODbot was the fact that the menus came in French to start with. Anyway thanx for the info, but is the installation for IvpBot the same for 1.5 as it is for 1.6, (unpack to the cstrike folder etc...)
And, doesn't ivpbot use the PODbot waypoints? if it does, I have hundreds, (maybe thousands) of good waypoints!
