Default Fritzbot not loading?? - 19-04-2008

Ive extracted fritzbot final and the patch to the ET folder but when i runt he game fritzbot doesn't appear on the menu. I am patched at 2.60 and i followed the directions precisely. Any ideas?? i played fritz a couple years ago and didn't have this problem...

If you don't see FRITZBOT in red as shown in the wiki in the mods submenu of ET then I would say you did not create the \fritzbot sub-directory and put the FritzBot ET dlls and pk3s in that directory. Please double check where the files were created. You should see the directory structure AS indicated in the wiki, and THE FRITZBOT ET FILES SHOULD NOT BE IN ETMAIN.

This has nothing to do with your problem or fritzbot but some latest et mod versions require it. It's just a matter of replacing a couple of .exe files. See the readme for details

note: my fritzbot server and client run v2.60b with no problems.
