First of all it's like PMB says.
It's in the hpb code bot.cpp file. as far as the code goes.
To make / add your customs for bots to spray.
You have to do the following.
You have to make your own decals.wad containing the custom sprays.
list the sprays in a file (logo.cfg)
The decals.wad file has to be stored in the MOD folder.
and the logo.cfg (HPB_bot_logo.cfg) goes in the BOT folder.
The logo.cfg file looks like this. each entry is a custom spray in the decals.wad.
The decals can't have custom names. You can change the decals in the WAD file but you must overwrite existing ones. And in order for your clients to see them, they must have the same WAD file as you. If they've got the stock WAD file, all they'll see is game textures in place of the bot's logos.
RACC home - Bots-United: beer, babies & bots (especially the latter) "Learn to think by yourself, else others will do it for you."
Dont know if this idea is dead and buried but I would like to see it revived. I added my Clan logo to the decals.wad file (thats added to not replaced any). I put in custom names and yes the bots do spray the logo, but only I can see it lol. This is on a dedicated server, on the listen server it worked and other people could see the spray on the LAN. Would it not be easy (he says without really understanding how complicated this may be) to simply make a botdecal.wad that they could use for sprays? I appreciate that people want spraying off due to lag issues but I could easily add this to the map RES files for downloading for my server.
Just a bit of fun but I really like the Fear Da Bots logo one of the clan made!
