FIXED: Thread downloads are not working, use the filebase

Hi,

please contact Nova and/or PMB to ask them for a safe_mode was of offering downloads as attachments in treads in the board software.

I had to enable safe_mode yesterday, this should not have been disabled. The whole filebase was only set up to not have safe_mode disabled for the forum. So please a) do not disable safe_mode and b) do ask the stupid VBB guys why they are still not coding internet software but a lan bbs which does open holes as big as the moon just to offer downloads in php.

just to clarify again, not "the safe_mode" broke anything, but the (unsafe!) code is the reason, or mostly the setup of the software in the system. Who want's this server hacked?

Nobody, thus we must live w/o unsafe_mode

The downlads in the threads are a bad thing anyways, use the filebase. Your login for the forum will work there too, include the Filebase URL in Your post.

Regarding the svn, I will do a short google search and read the setup manual, I'm shure the coders of svn and it's php code have explained how to use this software somewhat secure.

ok, in the mentioned file (uh php error messages are helpfull nowadays) it's now written:

But now I need to know, where the svn repository is and why it's no longer configured....

Okaaay this code is bad

They use system exec's even worse than perl ever did.

WebSVN is now working for:
- list of changes since last commit
- tarball downloads
- log view

Whats not working:
- diff
- html file preview
- coloured output

What needs to be done:
- find out, what other external programms svn/svnlook (and perhaps other external programs) need
- copy them in the safe_mode_execdir

I found no setup guide for a secure setup, this makes me very nervous about every websvn I see from now on ....

Oh and my respect about the php error messages is gone, as you can see on the websvn pages, there is no error message. (logs never did tell anything about php, so judge yourself)
