I'll be honest, i just took a wonder around the techdemo, and i wasn't all that impressed, it looked like the original UT, except for the fact the framerate was much lower :/

The tech demo for irrlicht was from an older version of the engine (much older), though I've no idea how it performs these days. Just had a look at ogre as well - much of that runs quite nicely, though some parts chug a bit on my comp (admittedly running it at 1280x1024 didn't exactly help). It would be interesting to see how it would run with elements from each demo put together in the one scene.

What do you want the benchmark to test? I can do some up, be it just a few screenshots or something. Of course, my vid card is a radeon 9250se (it's alright, but when eventually I have some money, it'll be upgraded) but I suppose it would serve as a good test bed (if it runs great on that, imagine on an x800 or something).

Well, i suppose that could be a problem.. the chances are you would have to make a map for each with exactly the same features for an effective benchmark :/
