bots will not move

8o i installed it correctly i used ninja's new v3 of E[POD] bot and the bots are not moving i checked the waypoints with waypoint editing, and they are loading in the game correctly. They do not shoot either. what could be the probelm?

hi, before wondering why no one answers,i suggest you tell us more about your problem (it's with new v3 of E[POD]) but what and wgere and how did you try it, (cs 1.5/1.6, win/linux, dedicated/listening, what called to set up ..)

To me, it sounds like he's using CS v1.6, cause the not moving problem's an incompatibility thing with CS v1.6.

To play the game, you're using steam I bet, so yeah, if you are, try using IvPbot, cause E[POD]bot doesn't support CS v1.6. You'll have to use it's WIP version so that they'll buy stuff, cause the new update messed up the newround code...

well i uninstalled E[Pod] bot and installed ivp bot and it is having problems as well it says ''there are no waypoints for this map cant add bots'' on every map i try to add bots to. and i have waypoints for every map i have. So are they in the wrong place where should they be anyway?

Umm... odd.... Hm.... this ain't no belated april fools joke is it? lol...

but just make sure that it's in your bot folder, inside the cstrike folder.

for example:
(your CS directory)\cstrike\ivpbot\

inside the ivpbot folder, there should be one called "wptdefault"

and the liblist.gam file (open with notepad) should read:

gamedll "ivpbot\ivpbot.dll"


and for E[POD]bot, it should be in the folder:
(your CS directory)\cstrike\epodbot\

and the waypoint folder inside should be called "wptEPB"

and in the liblist.gam file (open with notepad) it should read:

gamedll "epodbot\epb.dll"

If something doesn't look like that, then it's installed wrong, make the changes so that it does look like how I've shown it. You can't run both bots at the same time from the liblist.gam file, but you can get the botmixer5000 thing that Botman made, and PMB updated.

hey thanks they work now,(ivpbot) but there are two new problems 1: Ts dont go anywhere near the bombsite at anymap I go to (they wont plant bomb) and they run around like the cts do and just kill each other. 2: CTs and Ts wont buy anything but pistols and ammo, I practically have to buy stuff for them, but when i give to them they use very well. They're pretty good with em, matter of fact none of em died since i gave each of em one lol. (ive tried setting the weapons mode to all weapons, then killing them all in the console but that dont work)

Dude, the bots don't buy stuff because of the new update for CS v1.6, you'll need to get the WIP that was released, he fixed the new round bug that prevented the bots from buying stuff.

Hmm, diddn't know the new CS v1.6 update also messed up their bombplant code. Odd... but yeah, just get the WIP version of IvPbot off the Ivpbot website.

Well then jack, just do the same like he did, if you're using cs v1.6, you'll need IvPbot, the latest release he did, wich was the WIP version. (Work In Progress...)
