If you discover any waypoint bugs or think of any improvements post them here so coconut can improve the waypoints and hopefully make Gravebot even funner.

What I found so far...

Bots usually get stuck in the cloning chamber on most maps.
and on si_urban on the roads to AFD and MCL, the bots still hide in the corners doing practically nothing

No bugs found here... but I would absolutely LOVE it if he had the time to put together a waypoint file for HLDM's crossfire map *grins hopefully*. Sorry to keep asking but this is the ONLY map my clan plays and I tried to learn to waypoint but it doesn't seem to work for me... not sure why *shrug*

Hi, I remember I used the Parabot for hldm some time ago. The Gravebot seems to stay near the spawnpoint-area. Havenīt tested the other maps, crossfire works just fine but I waypointed not every corner of the map perfectly. But to test the bot itīs ok :-). If you like I can post some screenies with waypointing-tips and you can make your own, very easy .

And here are the waypoints, enjoy .

You are the MAN CoCo ... Sorry to be such a pest... I followed the directions for waypointing on a listen server and I just couldnt get them to work. Screenies/instructions would be nice, thank you . You can send any such content to Jayjay64@aol.com, or just post them here!! I will give this a test right away!!

Thanks again!

Yes, thereīs a waypoint-readme in the hpb_bot (link above). Gravebot has some additional flags (also readme). My keybinds are:

bind "F5" "waypoint add"
bind "F6" "waypoint delete"
bind "F7" "pathwaypoint create1"
bind "F8" "pathwaypoint create2"
bind "F9" "pathwaypoint remove1"
bind "F10" "pathwaypoint remove2"

Maybe other keybinds are good for you, try it! To begin easily type:
pathwaypoint on
in your console and you can run around in crossfire and see the waypoints and connections (lines between the waypoints, sometimes there are only one-way-connections). In open areas the autowaypoint-function is cool, it doesnīt work good in tight places. The crossfire-waypoints took me about 10 min.
