Default Sinking dead bodies - 28-03-2008

I'm not sure it is podbot to cause but when a bot dies, his body sinks partly in the floor.
It just sinks a bit and then stays into that position till the "time before dead bodies disappear" is over.
Normally a dead body lays on the floor full visible.
I really don't know if it has something to do with podbot but if anyone experiences the same while playing with the latest podbot, feel free to post reply.
I can actually test it by playing on an internet server without bots and if the same occurs it's a steam-cs bug.
I'll test it myself but for now I wanted to post it already.

I only encounter the half sunk body when I play on weird maps.
Other than that, I never experienced it. Since it seems to be happening, it is mostlikly a game bug, not everything is perfect.

I've seen these a lot. Sometimes bodies sink from a higher platform and fall through, making it seem like they are flying/

With me it happens on normal standard maps and on perfectly flat ground.
I've made some screenshots to let you see what I experience.
All are made in spectator mode, then in "free look cam".

Screenshot #1:
The body sunk totally under the surface so that it isn't visible from above the ground.
Screenshot #2:
Flat floor, de_dust2 and the damn sunk body.
Screenshot #3:
Some bodies sink deeper than others.
Screenshot #4:
Same as screenshot #2.
Screenshot #5:
Not all bodies sink ( about 2-3% ), the one at the left didn't while the one at the right did.

The problem is that I don't know when it exactly started, I guess a few days ago.
But I know for sure that it wasn't like that in the past.
Now a T or CT dies, his body drops to the floor and remains in position for about 3 seconds and then falls further into the ground.
Some even move only a couple of pixels while others become totally invisible for the alive players.

I've just went on internet servers and the bug didn't appeared.
I tried multiple servers, none had the phenomenom.
Maybe it's only on DS or something like that, I really want other people to test it as well.
I don't hope it's something with my cs or with podbot.
I didn't changed anything at all before and after it started.
Please need other people to feedback on this!!!

I do use custom models, maybe the steam models are bugged?

There was a steam client update 2 days ago.
Damn I really can't remember if it was like that before the update.
But then why doesn't it appear on an internet server with default models like mine.
The only difference is that I only have a dedicated server ( windows ).
My "time before dead bodies disappear" is set to 600.
That's all I can come up with for the moment.
Need more feedback of other users so I can find out what it causes.

Are You using AMX X with some plugins they are dealing with player models (Zombie Mod, PlayerModel, ChickenMod etc.)?

No, the only mod I'm using is metamod used to get podbot working.
I haven't changed anything in my settings nor my podbot-files.
( I often change things in podbot.cfg like maxbotskill, detailnames, ...; but I do that allready for so long that I know what I'm changing and never experienced anything weird afterwards )
It just happened after changing nothing "important".
