Default A Twelve Puzzle contest - 03-04-2004

http://neuron.tuke.sk/~machm/ea-cont...ntest2004.html

My 'participation' on this contest is compulsory 9_9, so I'll post here my solution (after the contest is over obviously :p)

reviving ze thread 9_9

I've finished my solution. You can find it here : http://neuron.tuke.sk/~wagner/projects-eas.php. (Working under windows, linux,*BSD. ANSI C++ compatible source code, makefiles and project (.NET) included)

I placed on third place in contest, only because my solution was quite slow. However first two places were programs which used hybrid algorithms. (I used pure EA). Also my solutions solves non-planar and/or smaller/bigger maps then in contest.

yes, all source codes on my page are password protected, because I want to know how many people are interested in my work. I'll PM you the password for Twelve puzzle.
