Default Pb commands are not recognised! - 05-10-2009

I made some zombie server last year, and now, I decided to make it again.

I made it, but something is wrong with podbots.

Before, I could type commands to add or to kill the podbot, but know, when I type in console, for example, pb fillserver, i got "Unknown command: pb".

What is wrong?

Why does this won't work?

I downloaded the latest version of podbot and installed it.

Why do You think it's the bug? Maybe You should have start to think "what I'm doing wrong if the basic functionality of podbot mm wasn't yet reported as a bug"?
Anyway write in the console:
meta list
and show the output here.
Then make sure - Your are getting the rcon access correctly (pb commands are server commands).

In game's console:

Code:
] meta list

In "out-of-game-console" , there is POD-Bot mm,
his stat: RUN,
pend: -;
file: podbot_mm.dll
vers: v3.0B20a
src: ini
load: Chlvl
unlod: ANY

One more question, #offtopic: I want to set me as admin on my server. I do that in users.ini file. I write my name, "" as password, all letters except z (cause it means - user), and "de".

My IP is changeable, it changes every day. So, I have to change that in users.ini.

I want to login with username and password, but don't know how to login while I am in game. I've heard that userconfig.cfg can be used to enter password. How to enter it?

For example, if my pass is "acalukas", what should i type in that userconfig.cfg file?

Thanks a lot!

podbot mm doesn't use any file called userconfig.cfg
Users.ini file belongs to amxmodx - so You should've ask at amxmodx forum.
Basic question is about Your IP changable - why does it happen? It's because You are using everytime different PC's (i.e. in internet cafe) or You are getting from the provider everytime the different IP, but You are playing from the same PC (as a client PC to Your server).
More info about setup the access You can find in users.ini (at the bottom of the file).

I resolved problem with logging in, now let's go back to pod-bot problem.

Is there anything wrong in my meta list?

users.ini and podbot mm have nothing common. To get the remote access (rcon) of the server You have to type in Your client console:
rcon_password "yourpassword_from_server.cfg_on_the_server"
Then - if You got the access - try this:
rcon pb add 100
That's it.
Another way to control bots on the server is good explaind here (and I'm not going to add there anything more). Just don't be lazy and read all 100 posts there.
Yet another possibility - without using rcon access and podbot mm build in podbotmenu - You can use this plugin (if You are using AMXMODX).

You was right.

When i type rcon pb add 100, then i got message that there is no rcon password on that server. How to set up my password?

rcon_password "your password"

Without the quotes, goes into your server.cfg

setinfo _pbadminpw "your_password"

I added this to my userconfig and all worked.

Thanks.

Something more:

I can't add (nor have) bots on some maps I added later.

Why is that?

How to fix that problem?

You probably don't have the required waypoints for that specific map. Whatever map it is try searching for the exact name only add .pwf at the end of it, .pwf being the waypoints file format, for example: Google Search de_dust2.pwf

Podbots waypoints are located in wptdefault.
