help me please

i've never even got the bots to work right without my computer crashing and yes i have metamod v1.17.1

OK - write here (just copy and paste) Your podbot.cfg file. With this beta - without freeze - did You try to write in console exactly this line:
pb addbot
or maybe You tried without "pb"?

try using the beta again..
then in the console type in "meta list"
if podbot is loaded and it doesn't say badf load
then you can do "pb addbot" or if you created a listen server then bind a key to "podbotmenu" and push that key to get a menu.

i typed meta list in console but it just said Unknown Command:meta
maybe i put the metamod.dll in the wrong folder. where is it suppose to go? i put it in the addons folder

Ah, yes. If the meta command isn't recognised, then you have some problem with metamod indeed.
Actually, it doesn't matter in which folder it is, but your liblist.gam must point to it.
So if you have
c:\steam\steamApps\your@mail\counter-strike\cstrike\addons\metamod.dll
your liblist.gam should have this line
gamedll "dlls\mp.dll"
changed to
gamedll "addons\metamod.dll".

Whatever path you enter for the game dll, it is relative to the cstrike folder.
So if you put your metamod dll in
c:\[...]\cstrike\addons\metamod\
(which I recommend),
the line in liblist.gam must be:
gamedll "addons\metamod\metamod.dll".

yay thanks! metamod loads up now, but it says 0 plugins loaded

I put win32 addons/podbot/podbot_mm.dll in the plugins.ini file but its still not working

You have to put -dll addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll after your shortcut to the hl.exe to use pb.
