Hi all,

As you maybe have suspected I'm a bit offline this days, currently I'm writting from a friend PC. Thats because my computer had burned out by a storm, huh what an irony, The Storm's computer to fire up by a storm.
My whole motherboard, power supply and the video card have burned out but thanks to my grandmother and grandfather I will have a new nice PC in some days.

Actually I turn off my PC in each storm that is around the town but this time the thunder falling was very unexpected, the sky looked pretty clear and suddenly a thunder falled near to my house and burned out my pc with two TV's. But hey it's not only me, my all neighbours have burned TV's.

What is the lesson from all this? - Trust more to the weather forecast.

Another lesson... Don't just depend on a varistor (MOV) type surge suppressor in your power bar. Get one with a gas suppressor - fuse,... and get one with a good LC filter, heck get a UPS. Of course if your house gets hit...
