Default Metamod-P23 crashing with bots? - 29-04-2005

I have included optimized version of GET_USER_MSG_ID() in Metamod-P23 (http://metamod-p.sourceforge.net/), but some people have reported me about crashes with bots after upgrading. Could someone test for me if this really happen?

I'm not aware of any problems with this build reguarding bots:

Setup:
Win32
MetaMod 1.17.4p23
AMX Mod 0.9.9b
VexdUM 1.0b
CS 1.6

Tested PODBot, CZBot and the 1 I'm currently scripting with a few people for AMX Mod

@Hullu - can You ask the people reporting this problem which bot did they use when they experienced crash with Your optimized mm version? This way it will be for us more easy to focus on these bots and make tests for You with these bots making troubles with this mm version.

[EDIT]
BTW - since You are the first creator of Booster, can You look at it?

, I did not know about metamod-P23 I'm grabbing the source right away and I'll report soon whether it crashes or not with some of the bots I have (actually, if you don't see me reporting at all, that'll mean it worked so far )

I'm eager to see how you did this dynamic entity linking stuff for Linux

bump.

Why the hell does Jussi's code need to be so GCC focused ? I'm patching the hell out of it to be able to compile a Win32 binary in MSVC ! Trying for 2 hours, argh.

And don't tell me to just grab the binary from his site, I want to be able to compile myself any stuff I use period !

Use Free tools then ie MSYS/MinGW

You'll have it compiling within minutes instead of hours of patching

bleh. I've given up.

MSVC refuses variable arguments (...) in preprocessor macros and the code uses them a lot.

grmbl.

Yeah, MSVC lacks support for some very basic features.

OK. Foxbot it's a bot for TFC. Probably we don't have conntact with its author, but... Is here any bot working on TFC? Maybe need make tests on TFC with any bot for it to look where the problem is?

*Bump*
Can someone having TFC and foxbot (or any bot for TFC) make this test for Hullu with his optimized metamod? The people care to make their products bots compatible, but we don't answer at all. It's not nice.9_9
