More Bugs With Build R2B44

THIS IS PERTAING TO RELEASE R2.44 for WINDOWS

I have noticed some serious ladder problems sence the last release

bots have trouble engaging ladders and getting off
they get stuck or can't chose a direction to move


and also they don't respond to some of the tricks us waypointers use lol

I'm going to have to ask which b44?
I've never released it
the problem appeared in b44 but was later fixed in b44..
I've never personally released b44... except maybe to linux beta testers.. and those people probably got it from the link in my signature.. there can be lots of problems with the dll..

you can get 2.44 from the download center lol unless it is labeled wrong or something

yea thats true.. you can..
but I didn't release it..
HK made the download center..
I only release it on mapzap and the filebase..
and if you check.. mapzap still has b43..

KWO sent me R2b44k, and I didn't see any of the problems bio mentioned. He (KWo) explicitly asked me to check for ladder problems and see if the default waypoints needed to be modified. I suppose he did this because there had been problems like those mentioned by bio, and he wanted me to make sure that in the new build 44k, those bugs were really fixed.

yea I was messing around with the ladder code to try to make the navigate ladders better..

I seemed to notice that when, for example, two CT bots want to climb to the rooftop in cs_assault, the second bot will wait for its colleague to leave the upper end of the ladden before it starts to go up itself.
Besides, I had the impression that upon reching the top of a ladder, they no longer make those little "Jumps" that look a bit as if they had been catapulted over the edge , but proceed straight ahead... is that correcf, or am I just having hallucinations?

Forget it. sPlOrYgOn already removed that ladder code and reverted back to the old one with Your favourite catapulting.
