Default Metamod: Source is out!!! - 08-05-2005

Metamod: Source was released yesterday...

http://www.sourcemm.net/

Perhaps Source bot plugins should be written as Metamod: Source plugins instead of HL2 engine plugins?

8o argh would there be any advantages of doing it this way? I didn't really like all the metamod stuff in my bot, besides the HL2 plugins allow several pligins to run anyway so there might not be much point, unless you were joking

yeah well to me at the moment, except there are no weapons info!!! Do you get any weapon info from metamod :source plugin API ?? (quite busy so can't be bothered checking myself )

Just the fact I spent all the time working on the code for the HL2 plugin APIs and would probably mean changing everythnig again

I don't know either, but at least we'll be able to use the help of the SourceMod community, which will be to Metamod:Source what AMX was to metamod.

read parts of it. Its quite interesting as it uses a similiar technique as the original metamod and is not being a plugin in the way as you normally write HL2 plugins. I wait this out, wait for any bots to be coded on this...

i need a new computer anyways to be able to develop easily if i ever want to code a CSS bot or whatever. YEah i am spoiled.

Good news.
