Default JoeBot, CS1.6, Metamod, Statsme - 14-01-2005

I'm currently running hlds linux dedicated server, I installed MetaMod, and statsme, both of which worked fine, I then installed JoeBot, launching it with a line in MetaMod plugins.ini, however, although Joebot starts fine, statsme no longer runs.

My friend is also experiencing the same problems, is this a known problem, or anyone know of a fix?

It seems the installation of JoeBot overwrote Your liblist.gam file. To get StatsMe , metamod and Joebot to work You should follow manual procedure of installation them.

1. In Your liblist.gam file in CSTRIKE directory You should see the call for metamod. You should replace the line with gamedll (probably currently calling for You joebot.dll) by this one:
gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll"

2. Go to ...\cstrike\addons\metamod directory and find the file called plugins.ini
There You should see this line:
win32 addons/statsme/dlls/statsme_mm.dll

3. Behind that line (seen above) add the new one:
win32 joebot/joebot_mm.dll
(I hope You downloaded already the metamod version of latest Joebot - and You have this file joebot_mm.dll in Your Joebot directory)

Start the game and try to write again in console:
meta list
And show us what You can see.
If still You can see nothing - it will mean Your metamod is incorrect installed (or maybe accidently damaged during installation Joebot). For more detais about installing metamod You can see here:

http://forums.bots-united.com/showthread.php?t=2576

but the part for installation podbot is a bit different than for Joebot (because they are located in totally different directories).
Hope it will help You a bit.

Hey, I got it fixed, Joebot had indeed overwritten my liblist.gam, I didnt think of checking that, as I remembered it asking me, and I said "rename" and named it liblist.gam1, but it appeared it renamed my original one somehow.

I also had the wrong .so file in my plugins.ini, but I fixed that aswell, so all sorted, thanks
