Heyyo,
Yeah, it's still WIP, so we better catch all the errors now before throwing it out there for the masses. And from what I see, we ain't far from it.
I'd be great if we can get this up before the official CS:S bot, so once it's up, we can get some high quality nav packs out for it too, that'll boost the site's popularity 10 fold inna matter of days. I'm sure at the rate the official CS:S bot's taking, we'll have a time advantage.
[EDIT]
I've seen how the official CSbot nav's, and dead_buoy's console commands, so I'm sure I could pump out a few good nav files too.

yes well there isn't much more i can actaully do because i don't have anything to work with... i mean i can setup the layout which reminds me i need a list of all the bots we are making waypoints for... and can you catagorize them so you would have - Podbot MM
- EPODBOT
- IVbot
- other bots that use the same waypoints as podbot
- NAV Files
- etc
and also i need someone to make a logo for the top part... it would be nice to have a contest.. .see who can make the best one... i'll have some guys here try to come up with something other than that we should be getting close to done with it... altho i haven't tryed to make a searcher or anything mainly because there is nothing to search for and i don't really know how to make one yet, and i am lazy

Heyyo,
Yeah, that setup's nice, but remember, there's 2 types of pwf files:
-the A* system (by SF and Austin that's incorporated in PODbot mm and POXbot)
-The classic PODbot system (by CF incorporated in PODbot v2.5 and down, EPB, YAPB, IVPbot, etc.)
So yeah, just name them something like that. I'm sure you guys will think of something more accurate...
For Nav files, they'll need to be broken down into 2 sections: Official CS:CZ bot, and Official CS:S bot. Turtlerock's apparently heavily modifying their current bot for CZ and improving it a lot for CS:S, so there might be a nav system overhaul...

1. Why are all the other podbot derives a subset of podbot mm?
2. A* really has nothing to do with how waypoints are saved...
3. Austin and SF only made the waypoint EDITOR.. they didn't change anything in the waypoint format... so POXBot I believe should go with the other bots...
4. PMB just changed what KIND of numbers were saved for camp waypoints only.. so what you get is bots looking in strange directions for camp waypoints.. but waypoint files are still compatible..
5. So there is only 1 type of current podbot wp file..

Heyyo,
Heh, I dunno, I heard A* somewhere so I threw that into the name.
Well, in general, yes it's the same as the other PODbot waypoint systems minus the camp waypoints, and the extra 2 pathwaypoint lines... Because of those 2 bonus pathwaypoint lines, I think PODbot mm is incompatible with the original waypoint style.... I'll have to try a PODbot mm waypoint in E[POD]bot to see if there is no compatibility errors.

Just dropping by to let you know I'm still interested in this... just that I ndon't have much time.
@ sPlO: I agree with all points, but let's not start that compatibility discussion again, ok? I think we can all agree that...
using PB mm waypoints for PB mm is better than using PB 2.5 waypoints and
using PB 2.5 waypoints for PB 2.5 is better than using PB mm waypoints,
whereas it doesn't matter if you use EPB or PB 2.5 waypoints for EPB or PB 2.5
- no matter because of which technical detail that might be.
The division is not intended for any other thing than to help people choose the ideal solution for them, period. We can still place a note somewhere that you can use e.g. PB mm for PB 2.5 because they are compatible in a technical sense, although not ideal.
@ biohazerd: The template doesn't look bad, and the functionality is just as I had imagined it to be (well, as far as that can be judged at such an early stage of development). Oh, and is it me or is that blue a bit "baby/candy blue"-ish?
At the end of the day, the font size will have to be smaller, I'd get rid of the broad divisions between table cells and go for the "thin horizontal line" or "zebra stripes" look. But that can be adjusted...

Roses are #FF0000, violets are #0000FF // all my base, are belong to you.

as for the color... the guy no longer has the PSD file to change the colors so we are stuck with that... unless you really don't like that, i can probly get him to make it again... and the tables ya i know i am just trying some things... i don't do a lot of designing... i ususally do the code

Uhh, wait a second... but you have the gfx in some shape or form, don't you? And why wouldn't it be possible to edit those with PS? Not that it's that important...
In December, I'll post some stuff concerning the layout. But for now, I'm gonna lay down - bedtime! Got a long & hard day tomorrow.

the way these types of layouts are made is they have lots and lots of layers, so the drop shadows, shades etc have their own layer... which means that in psd form you can change the color properties... and it changes the other layers shading to coenside with the color... it would be hard, maybe even impossible to change the colors of the JPEG format of the layout
