latest steam update & RB

im having the same problem with the spawn suicide. ive deleted all the .rbx and .rbn files, reinstalled steam, and reinstalled realbot....all seperately of course and nothing is working. WE NEED THIS FIXED!

Same problem here, I just recovered the files that were overwritten during the update and all is fine. Will keep it like that untill a fix is found.
(I use the Dedicated Server, not Steam)

If you want to do that same then grab the files on url below.
(Don't do this with Steam Client it will just update again and waste your time.)

You will get these messages of course, but you can still connect with updated clients

Usually when it says your server is out of date, your server never gets listed on the master list for people to join.

The only problem i have with going back to WIP #8 is that now my bots are stupid again. WIP 8.5 fixed the problem that my bots stood around and did nothing and kept having spasms or would run around in circles. i don't mind, i'm just waiting for WIP 9.0, stefan works fast ne way xP

I tried the wip#8 to see if it made a dif but they still suicided like crazy.

I did the same thing Brakkenjan did.....but see mine is a Lan Serv.....i dont need the Master Servers .....waiting for a fix! Keep posting.

I have temporarily shutdown my cs server till it gets resolved so I'll just be runn ing my tfc/neoTF server.

Thanks Brakkenjan for the backups. Works great till a fix can be found.
