Pon's Big Book of how to fix things

I'm having similar problems. I installed metamod and Realbot, but I still cant add bots. When I start a server for Steam 1.6, metamod loads. When I enter: meta list, this comes up:

When I try to add a bot, this comes up:

Unknown command: rb_addbot

Im running Windows XP.
metamod.dll is in cstrike/addons/metamod/dlls
plugins.ini is in cstrike/addons/metamod
realbot_mm.dll is in half life/Realbot/dll
The only line I have in the plugins.ini file is:
win32 ..realbot\dll\realbot_mm.dll realbot

If you have the latest version, the command to add bots is realbot add.

The command is right (realbot add), but it won't work!
Did you download the metamod.dll from the realbot website? If not, do it and replace it.

Fibre, are you saying it doesn't work for you or.....? It works just fine for me.
The only command I have trouble with is realbot min which is "unknown" but realbot max works.

I got metamod from realbot website. So the command to add a bot from console would be something like this? IE: realbot add 1 3 4 "Dude"

It works for me.
But since YOUR realbot isn't running, I don't know how your command can work if you haven't change anything. That's why I said it won't work.

wow...after a whole lot of time spent in front of the comp...i've followed all directions...from 10 diff posts :p and this is what i get:

i have the metamod.dll from the realbot website....umm...i dunno what else to do...

i think that's it.....don't have linux so i figured i don't have to change the linux line in liblist or plugins....

what the HELL!!!! do i do now????
