Installation of WIP-Versions without Problems?

I'am a bit confused, my realbot_mm.dll is in my addons folder and running with no problems. The pluggin.ini reads win32 addons/realbot/dlls/realbot_mm.dll Realbot. The realbot folder is still at hlserver/realbot. This is for dedicated server but I can't see why a listenserver would be different.???
