about the system specs, those are from the friend of mine. And he did had trouble first, until he upgraded to the latest ATI drivers.

My problem isk, i have a Geforce GX 5200Go. It is 64 MB ram. And it is capable of doing DX9 shaders and such, yet on a very low framerate. SO i should run it on DX8. ... 64MB is not that much imo, so i think iw ill have trouble running on 1024x768

gfx memory in my oppionen doesnt do much.. the ram is mor imortent..

in bf thoe who have 512 in ram (i have 256mb) and worse graphic card loads way faster then mine..
and i got computer lag..

Cubemaps are the textures required for cubic environment mapping. 6 textures are generated that form a cube. These are used to simulate shiny surfaces. If you look at the old HL, some models use spherical environment mapping to make them look shiny.

At the beggining, I used low video settings, but from somewhere in Ravenholm and for the rest of the game I turned the settings up a bit... Although it still isn't high relosution...
