The only things I don't like about that PC is the P4 2.8E and the Geforce 5700le

I'd replace those with probably a 3.2C proc (if it's not that much more expensive) and a Geforce 5900XT or Radeon 9800 Pro.

Or, better yet, go AMD...less expensive and performs better than an equivalent P4.

but eh...just my suggestions on improving the custom PC...not my choice lol

It's still a decent solution for CS and stuff, but for future games, the graphics card probably won't cut it. And the prescott gives less performance than a P4 2.8C (except in Doom 3...lucky bitch lol)

Yeah duracell, I feel the same way man, I love my amd and ati mix. My computer's not the best out there (AMD Athlon XP 1900+, and ATI Radeon 9600 pro) but it tends to do good on all games.

that sounds interesting... but not for me, I already have my woodputer (c)(r)(tm) and I'm happy with it But I *might* know someone who would be in need of a P4 with a GeForce FX.

5700LE is indeed a great card, much better than the othe fx cards close to it.

the nvidia line before the 5700 and After the Gf2 suckes

G3&G4 were the best cards of their time.


Your offer dont seem that good. I built a computer for myself a couple of months ago for ~950$ which has a 400 mhz faster CPU, a double as big hdd, faster memory and a 5.1 speaker system.

How many points in 3dMark01SE does yours pull of? Mine gets 8k.
