It should bring you to the pimpage forum where each map is presented in a separate thread by means of several screenies plus a download link. The source pack (i.e. the models/sprites/textures) can also be d/l'ed from there.

This is difficult... there is not one map where I said "oh of course, this has got to be it for sure". However, in cs_52fieldday I found one very particular element I only know from cs_brainwash_f plus another one that's less particular but at least appears in brainswash_f as well. I'm not really deeply convinced of anything, but if someone held a pistol to my head and forced me to choose, I would say it's cs_52fieldday.

age, I got it!

Now YOU guess what led me to believe that it was cs_52fieldday...

Btw, the map looks really nice and most of all well-playable. It's small, but not too small, easy to learn and ought to be fun. Gonna make waypoints for it to test gameplay, hehe...

Ok... here, I have taken some screenies and added comments to show what gave you away. There's one more element I forgot to take photoes of: Open doors as solid brushes to show which door you can use and which one you can't. You did it in brainwash_f (those cells where the hostages were), you did it in fieldday. The rest is in the attached pics.
Btw, I finished the waypoint file for this map yesterday and playtested a bit today - it's really fun to play! Fast & furious, you could say... If this map doesn't make it into one of the best 5 ranks (not only in my personal "chart", but also in the clan00 contest, then I don't know...

But after all, there were only 5 maps to choose from. If you hadn't told me that you mapped one of the five I mentioned, I would never have guessed that one was made by you. And out of those 5, some could be "eliminated" because they had some stuff in them which you'd never use (judging from those maps by you that I know). For example, huge and flashy glow sprites under almost all lamps or tiny, narrow doors that can be opened, whereas absolutely identical-looking doors are just textures applied to solid brushes, so that you can never be sure where you can go and where you can't...

i lost anyway.....there were quite a few maps there that were very obviously not made for this contest, but rather...retextured industrial scenery...and some of those made the top ten.

i right now have no clue what they were looking for.

Me neither... I noticed your map wasn't even in the top 10, but I really didn't understand their policy, either. You probably should have made a de-map, like everybody today does. In the top 10, there was one as, one cs, and 8 de. It's really a pity... good cs maps are SO hard to find nowadays.

It doesn't help you for the contest, but your map still is in MY top five, no matter what the [00] guys decided.
