As i said before i know the principle, just not the right code to get it working. That was yesterday evening in very tired mood. Perhaps i have some time tonight to fix it. I will try different approaches. I'd rather save it in chunks then trying to figure out other stuff.

i cannot tell yet if my crash problem is fixed, but i did change the code to save pieces of 512 bytes now. I also changed my loading function and with changing maps i got no problems. I hope the issue is truelly fixed (i hope to hear that from people after any wip release)
