I have joebot and metamod on a SuSE Linux 8.0 server. The bots and the admin are working just fine together. I can connect to the server using a Windows XP box that I have on the same router using the server ip.
The game starts, bots are spawned and all admin commands are available. But when I try to use waypoint commands they simply get ignored. If I enter "waypoint on" the server ignores it. I don't get an error message or anything.
Am I missing something? What do I need to do to be able to enter waypoint editing mode on a Linux dedicated server?
Thanks

you cannot edit waypoint files when running as a client on a dedicated server - enabling this would require some sort of authentification system, since not everybody should be allowed to edit the waypoints, to add or remove bots etc.
you can only edit waypoint files on a listenserver. there you can of course save them and copy them to your dedicated server to use them there.
