Yes did that to a couple times.
I'd just remove it and install the wine rpm again.
First thing after install wine I copy all the files form the winXP system and system32 folder to the wine system folder.
Then a trail and error on wich dlls to use native and wich from wine.
I Then usualy install IExplore and ms office to set the most dlls and compatiblity for other windows programs.
But it's always a pain to do. Costs lotsa time and effort.

i tried installing winex and messed everything up...
I'm not sure what to do anymore..
Theres an older version of wine in the Mandrake 10 cd but I tried installing a newer version of wine using an rpm thats given from the wine site.
Doesn't really matter now..
I'm going to try and just dual boot with win98 when i get the time to.

Hehe, apparently that's true. Just read funny things like "I'm using FireFox, but I have a FireBird icon" and "FireFox with FireFox icon" etc. in a different thread... maybe they should really make up their minds. Or what will come next? FlameHorse? LavaSheep? VolcanoGoose? Hopefully they won't change Opera to "Musical" or "Symphony" in any version to come...

Ok, that's a good enough reason for a name change.
On the other hand, the trouble involved with changing product names all the time is a good enough reason to do some research BEFORE giving your product a certain name... 9_9
