I just tested it in Firefox, AND Internet Explorer, and neither one had an issue downloading Fritz when I just clicked on the "download file" button.

Try again - just in case there was a server issue thats been fixed in the meantime.

I know what he is talking about, its the map downloads (for waypoints). I had to make a page on my site with links to even download them.

File associations and open with programs will cause this problem.
Also the server may also read a file extension differently.

You should have no problem downloading waypoint ZIP files. But if they are waypoint PK3 files, you will see a page of code as you have discovered. Just right-click and choose "save page as" and use the default title of "mapname.pk3" and you'll save the PK3 correctly.
