Mapname to lower case

When you change map, and types like De_dust, then the bots says "no waypoint file found for map ......." even if there is a file called de_dust.pwf because the bots serch for a file called De_dust.pwf.

My suggestion is to simply convert the mapname to lower cases before loading waypoint file.


Dunno if this should be in bug repots but i think it's more an inprovement idea then a bug.

I believe it's linux filename problem, right? I didn't notice such problem on windows.

I have got winXP pro sp2 and HLDS stand alone.
pb version R2b6d (meta info podbot)

Well rename the waypoint to lower case and your bots will work properly, because I sopose the bots look for the same exact spelling as the map is spelled for the waypoints, your bots should work when you rename the waypoint to the map name should all be lower case and maybe underscores too.

The bots do work, but I just thought adding this to the next release would be good:
The bots allway serch for waypointfiles named mapname.pwf and never MAPNAME.pwf, MaPnAmE.pwf, MAPname.pwf etc.

ex
server console: map DE_DUST
bots serch for de_dust.pwf anyway

Hey, I've never bothered to check/download the maps with names like it, but is there a difference in those maps? Like, de_dust different from De_dust?

Actually De_dust and de_dust is the same map, the difference are onley in the server list.

Example
if you type
map DE_DUST
in the server console, then the server browser says the map is DE_DUST.

The problem is:
If you type DE_DUST then podbot will serch for DE_DUST.pwf and say it not exists. (Even thought there is a file called de_dust.pwf that would work for the map)

Then maybe you shouldn't have caps on when you type in a map??

well that's the most of the caseof the problem u have there is nt map called DE_DUST in the bots waypoints, but it is a waypoint called de_dust

That is what i have been saying all the time, this is not really a problem and i know how to make it work
This is just an idea.
