SF is begging for some help with coding

Hey all

I know you guys know im leading a mod project for source. I am so close to a release right now and these jerk off coders keep coming into the picture attemtp to write a line or 2 of code then suddenly tell me they have no time anymore to work on the mod.......or they just never write back or answer mails totally ignoring me. im getting sick of the same excuse.

if any of you experts has any time on your hands to help me out.....theres about 11000 people waiting for this mod right now and thats not a joke. the community is much bigger than it was before and is growing weekly by at least 100 people...its sick how its growing right now and the mod isnt even out yet.

i would need a neat little tournament mode coded....that uses waypoints to indicate where players are. thats the main reason im asking you guys right now becasue you are familiar with such things.......its the only way i could imagine being able to perfect track the positin of a player anywhere in the map.....we must determine who got the farthest after a specific round time has ended....itsa jump race to be exact:
say 8 players connect and are forced to stay in spectator mode......
2 are randomly chosen to race and are taken out of spectator mode and put in the map.....a countdown comes.....and then its go.....say the race lasts 3-4 minutes.......at the end of this time....the player positions are checked......a winner is placed in the scoreboard with points, and are forced into spectator mode and the next 2 are chosen.......

if any of you think you can do this.......please PM me. I really need help! These people are great and i want to give them this´and cant find a regular code guy to come up with it. wouldnt even matter how much time it takes.

Well I could do that... but not right now. I'd love to help you out dude but you know the usual problem: time.

I find it strange though that in such a big community there's no trustable coder willing to help out.

Heh, sorry for bailing on you in the early days sf, but i hope you understand my reasoning (I've only just gotten everything back recently).

I'd offer my services again, however, i've started college recently, and i suffer from serious depression (Leaving me unmotivated), if i said i could help you again, i'd probably only let you down again :/

Coders are some bastards and that's just how that is. There are way too few of them and they never have time. Wehn you however find a dedicated coder they are quite cool. They can boost a mod like noone else in a few weeks.

dam tim i really wish i had coding knowledge ... but i hardly map and i got digi camera for textures but i dont have the same amount of free time

i totally agree that kz is not nice........but 2 things:
the idea came from something else...from americans who have no clue what a "kz" is....and surely dont even come close to thinking of that.......and #2

me needs an efficient coder. i have one now who seems to be doing things for us so all is not lost. hes a french gentleman and PMB, my savior, has agreed to be an ear if this dude has any problems, so thats good.
