What bots should I use

I have a Linux 1.6 Counter Strike Server with amxmod.

What's the best bots to run. I've tried podbot but the bots tend to just stay at spawn and the server will crash once in awhile. I know I can probably fix the spawn camping with new waypoints but I want the best bots.

Which version of POD-bot have you tried ?

I'm pretty sure it's 2.6. I d/l from this site about a month ago.

one month ago is quite old for this bot... there have been frequent updates since then and back then there was, indeed, a bug that would make the bots behave incorrectly on cs_ maps and eventually crash the server. This problem has been fixed since, so you may want to redownload the bot and try it again.

Else there are many other bots here that you can try out: JoeBot, RealBot, YaPB, etc...

I believe just the bot DLL should be enough... but in case of doubt, go for it - better make things sure.
