you have said "freeware" again when you are actually mentioning "free software"
and if you hate the GNU project and the FSF like PMB you can say "open source software", but in either way software like that is not "freeware". Free software doesn't have to be in zero price (just like thost GNU/Linux distros), and they don't forbid commercial exploitation like freeware
(If you don't understand... the "free" in "free software" means "libre" in french.)

Heyyo,

Aright! summore progress updates!

For installers, we're probably gonna go with NSIS cause it's free software (heh, I always get mixed between that and freeware, but I think I got it nailed down now that whistler's been trying to cram it into my skull ). BUT, I'm still waiting for someone to create me a cool midi music file so I can throw that into the installer, cause tha'd be kickass.

For the bots? they now properly pickup any new pistols, but seem to not care what weapon they drop to get it. I've seen bots drop an m4a1 and his pistol just to get the deagle I dropped... needless to say, I stole his m4a1.

I also pointed out 1 big bug left over from the PB 2.6 source code, and a possible 2nd bug.

The 1st one is how bots stare at 1 point forever, and only change where he's looking only if he jumps, or by luck.

The 2nd one is I think the hearing code's messed up again cause 1 bot was shooting his deagle like crazy at another bot, and eventually the other bot turned to shoot him down.

Oh, and I fixed up a few connection problems with my DE_Dust2 waypoints, and they will be in the next release.

And I just remembered another bug I saw that I forgot to report: EPB and PODBot mm "merging" together bug. YES, I'm not kidding, they did. Ya know how EPB now loads metamod? well my metamod loads PODbot mm, and no joke, but the bots merged! like, the waypoints where PODbot mm, the movement was PODbot mm, but the names were the EPB ones, and the waypoint menu was also the EPB one! crazy eh? I'm gonna mail THE_STORM and tell him this asap.

Ok, found another annoying bug: the bots don't get all booted, or can only boot some bots once!

Yes, very ghey, I know, but good thing I caught this bug. I could successfully boot half the bots with the "remove all bots" command in the botmenu, but then the "kick a random bot" or "remove all bots" wouldn't work...

So next release these should be fixed too.

For me there is no any bug with kicking the bots.
To kick all bots correctly you must wait all bots to connect to server and after that you can kick it all.

For the other bug with playing EPB and PODbotmm togeder -
You can't run correctly this bots becorse they are started from same source code.All command of the bots are same so that is the reason.

But yeah, the server was full (14) and then I used the "remove all bots" command, and only half got kicked, and then I couldn't remove all bots, or even 1.... it's a bug dude cause before they'd work perfectly... this was on CS 1.5, I'll try with 1.6 later...

Sometimes the remove bot bug happned to me when i was using the bot (vIII) with 1.5. Actually it happneed most of the time. It annoyed me because i had to restart the server, i remember the frustration...

Found another bug, sometimes bots shoot at dead corpses... long after they're dead, and they don't care for ammo counts either, they'll blast it until they're out of ammo.. so I'm reporting this to THE_STORM right now.
