Yeah, it looks like I'm going to have to save all my modifications and plugins, then uninstall and re-install both amx mod x and Metamod. The evidence is surely stacking that it's something I did or didn't do. When I get around to it (finals are this week) I'll get back to you guys and post if it worked or not.

Eager as I am, I already did all of that (save, uninstall) and when I had fresh, untouched metamod, amx modx and YaPB, it all worked.

I painstakingly re-introduced all saved elements from before and found two things were making my server hard to run.

First, although I couldn't tell which because I lost track of deletions and such, one of the following files was changed or modified at one time so when I used the new podbot.dll, it was crashing the server:
-botchat.txt
-botnames.txt
-podbot.cfg

So I used the one from the Jan 31st update from your website, and now it all works just grand.

The second thing, which was also most peculiar, was one of the modules (VexdUM.dll) for amx wasn't working anymore with the new version of AMX. Or something. But the peculiar thing was that it was working before I re-installed everything. Huh. But I disabled it (I'm sure I no longer use the plugin that required that) and now everything works.

For now, I still wanna see it run 24 hours before I'm satisfied. At least alot of my configuration files have been cleaned up. And I got a chance to clear out unnecessary files.

And, for the record, here's the new "plugins.ini" and "liblist.gam" for comparison to what used to be on there.

liblist.gam

cldll "1"
hlversion "1110"

nohimodel "1"
mpentity "multiplayer_only"
//gamedll "addons\yapb\dlls\podbot.dll"
gamedll "addons\metamod\dlls\metamod.dll"
trainmap "tr_1"

plugins.ini
Quote:
win32 addons\amxmodx\dlls\amxmodx_mm.dll
win32 addons\yapb\dlls\podbot.dll

Oh, and lastly, I have no modifying text "-dll\addons\whatever" in the Properties of the Dedicated Server icon anymore. I don't know why I had that there in the first place.

Thanks so much for helping guys. I appreciate it very much.

Yes.

But I don't think that has anything to do with translations because in Dedicated Server translations are disabled.

Code:
win32 addons\yapb\dlls\yapb.dll // added by bot installer
I thought the podbot.dll would run off of yapb, and the installer put this in the metamod plugins.
