Word! That's one advantage of specifying exact spots where to plant the bomb. And on most maps, you can specify quite a lot of points so that an approaching CT not only has to get to the bomb with the most possible difficulty, but also without knowing where it may be planted this time. A bomb planted on top of a crate is nice, but if the Ts do it all the time, it gets easy. But of course, it depends on the waypointer if there's some nice choice or not. I like to find several different and hard-to-find places for planting the bomb, but I've also seen waypointers who just place one node exactly on the "X"...
I think you have sufficient possibilities with the existing methods, although the idea itself isn't bad.

u could have this scenario where anywhere is possible...and at a random chance the bot can plant at the wp instead.

but having anywhere..means u may find it at odd places

(ps: can anyone point m,e to where i find the icon referring thing...ie bot checks if it's a buyzone or not, i can't find it )

in real game, many times
its easier when ct is defusing uncovered
quite simple shot form distance straight in the head because he cannot move then....

yes that is another tactic...
but we didn't even implement the bot planting anywhere in bombzone instead of just at goal waypoints..
so...
the bots won't be that advanced for quite a while...

I don't remember - is this possible change the radius of goal waypoints? This can help a bit...

Hm, that's worth a thought. He's right, goal WPs have their radii set to 0 by default. If the radius were rised to a high value like 96 or something, would the bot plant the bomb somewhere inside this radius? (Of course, with the restriction that he couldn't plant anywhere where his C4 icon isn't blinking. The question is what would happen if the bot moved inside the goal WP radius, but out of the bomb zone - would he try to plant the bomb anyway and get stuck, or would he manage to go back into the bomb zone on his own?)
@ [NvT]_KaszpiR_: Yes, this tactic also has its advantages. I usually try to cover both by setting 1 or 2 goal WPs in open areas and some others at covered places or at really mean spots, for example where a bomb would fall into a gap between crates, or maybe on top of a crate that can only be reached with several jumps... 9_9
If the respective code, however, were changed to a more random bomb placement, such mean little spots would be much less likely to be chosen, I think.

yea for now we'll just trust the waypointers in handling where the bomb goes..
lets hope we don't have people putting 1 goal right in the middle of the bombsite
