Default waypoint problem no path found - 15-04-2007

for de_volare, the waypoints that I found do not work for CTs. They cannot get off the plane. it says waypoint problem no path found. I've attached two volare waypoints and none of them work.

by the way, ancient, can you make me some waypoints for de_volare, working ones?

It's not a bug in the code. It's waypoints' problem. I'm moving it to Waypointing section...

Even if there is no way to get bots back to some WP (too high, unaccessible area etc) - the alone waypoint cannot be placed as one way only with only one another WP. This is how pathfinding works - even if You don't like - it works so because of the design. So if something is working according to the specification - it's not a bug.

Yes that's a waypoint problem, it's mostlikly a path problem from one waypoint to another.

Lol, I had the same problem, till I found working ones!!!
Awesome, try the zip below and tell me if they also work with you
p.s.:sometimes a single message shows up like "waypoint problem! no path found!" ( only happens if bot stands in water and want to use one of the cord-ladders, I guess ...... it's just a guess )
But for the rest the overall gameplay of the bots on the map is good and the most important ... the CT's do get of the plane!

For the interested persons, I found waypoints for "de_sunny(_final)"
On the net the waypoints are all named "de_sunny.pwf" and not like "de_sunny_beta.pwf" and "de_sunny_final.pwf", that's because of the map, it's always named "de_sunny" ( beta and final )
De_sunny ( final ) is a bright map with a stunning texture.
If anyone is interested I can give zip or link.
Beware that both maps are named "de_sunny", and you will replace "de_sunny.bsp" if you place it in your cstrike\maps folder, if you are intended still to play the beta-version of the map but I bet you don't, once you played the final version you don't wanna play the beta anymore ( unless you have bad map-taste)
