CS Is Crashing Since Jan. 15 Update

**CS Is Crashing Since Jan. 15 Update -** 16-01-2004

Since Steam updated CS yesterday, every time I start a game or join one, it crashes to my desktop.

Realbot AI 1.0 is the only mod I have installed and I'm wondering is it causing the crash with the new update?

I've got some crashes with it too. I'm using rb ai wip#6...

I fixed it, I think. Requires disabling MetaMod.

Go to the liblist.gam and change the gamedll "addons/metamod/dlls/metamod.dll" back to gamedll "dlls/mp.dll".

Enable CS again and it worked. For me at least.

My update deleted my mp.dll... but I still wanted to use metamod to play with realbot wip! It is a metamod problem yes...

metamod needs to know that mp.dll is still working, use GFCscape and extract the one from the .gfc it should work again, i only tested it for 1h so im not entirelly sure

I had already replaced it before your post. And all seem to be well now. But I didn't know metamod need a valid mp.dll to work. Thx
