Default You should modify this feature - 20-01-2004

I currently have a server running at 68.146.148.137:27016

It uses amx mod, mean mod, and realbots (newest wip). Everything is working smoothly so far, with a few crashes (don't know what is causeing them, not too worried).

I also use the feature "m_autokillbots 1". I would like to suggest some modifications that could be made to it:

When the bomb is planted, it does not kill all bots if there are no human players (wait for bomb to go off).

If a bot has hostages following it, wait until there are no longer any hostages following any bots.

The first one is more important(about the bomb), but the hostages would be good to fix as well.

Thanks for the suggestions, both good ones. The first one (wait for bomb blast) I can do easily, the second one (wait for hostage rescue) is a bit harder to do. I suppose one method is to check if any of the hostages are moving, if they are, then don't kill the bots, and keep checking until the hostages stop moving for a certain period of time (10 seconds maybe) or until the round ends.

yes, I knew the bomb would be easy to do, but I am not a coder, so I don't know all the triggers that the game uses. Is there a trigger that is used when the hostages are being "used"? There has gotta be some trigger that is used, because you can tell them to stop following you. They know to follow you, so something must be set.

Just a thought.

Count the number of hostages in the map, by hooking the Spawn() function of the game DLL, and count how many hostages have been rescued, when a hostage_entity triggers a func_hostage_rescue using a Touch() or Use() function. I think it would work.

Thanks PMB, I'll look into it.

ps: I already added the bomb check, get the latest release beta at my website with the fix.
