Default Dedicated server crashes - 24-01-2004

Everytime I load a bot, it says something about bot skills being overridden and the server crashes. I've tried with PODBot and ePODBot, I was unable to get RealBotAI to run properly. Can someone give me some tips? I'm running HLDS from the c:\hlserver directory if that helps. I installed the mEAn 5 package and then replaced the mean.dll with the mean_cs16.dll from the 5.50.11 beta zip file.

These bots are not compatible with CS 1.6. I'll try and explain why in laymans terms. The reason is because the official CS Bots for 1.6 are actually not fully disabled, and whenever a CS 1.5 bot is added, the CS Bot code "thinks" it is one of its own bots and tries to do stuff that causes the server to fail in a big way.

Realbot, Akimbot, HPB_Bot and IVPBot have been modified to get around the problem. Also, the developer of the CS Bots has fixed the problem to be released through a Steam update, but we do not yet know when the update will be released.
