Bots not shooting when on a ladder. -

I know we are meant to have a vid, but this seemed so easy to explain.
On cs_1337_assault, and possibly other maps - I'm not sure yet - when a bot climbs up above the hostage room, then tries to climb down the ladder into the hostage room - after shooting the first grill - the bots can get stuck on the second grill indefinatley as they dont shoot the second grill.
Im not sure if this is a bug, a prob with entity destruction + ladder, or just a waypoint problem.
Either way could someone help me out please.

Whoa, that sounds well known... from an ancient version of PODBot mm. Does it really occur with the latest build (r2b46), too? I really can't imagine. The other day I was waypointing a map where there is some shootable ice the bots can walk on. And although there was no connection leading through the breakable ice, bots stopped, shot the ice at their feet to pieces and drowned...
sPlOrYgOn has messed around a lot with the code that makes bots shoot breakables, and the only thing I could imagine is that part of this code might not work correctly while bots are stuck to ladders. But first please check if you are really using the latest build of the bot dll.

Yeah ive got all the latest stuff.
And I do agree i think it must be something to do with ladder+shooting breakable, cause they can shoot other stuff fine, it seems to be only on this ladder bit.
Ill try to have a look on some other maps, does anyone know some other maps where you must climb down a ladder, then shoot a grill or something? Ill see if any of my mates have made any maps like that, or i spose i could just ask them to make a simple one for it  .

cs_courthouse, cs_snowbase, as_tundra (that building near CT spawn).
Yeah, come to think of it, as_tundra ought to be good to test something.
Besides, although it shouldn't be the final solution to this problem, it might be interesting to see what happens when you move that waypoint to a different position. May I ask which waypoint file you are using? The one made by SoUlFaThEr from that custom map pack here at the filebase?

Cool, ill take a look at those levels aswell.
I'm using my own file, i was testing it for my waypoint pack (that should be finished soon i hope...) wen i found the problem.
I think I may have something though, maybe at the bottom of the ladder, i should try a normal waypoint, they may try and "climb" off the ladder, then shoot the grill? I'll try that out tomorrow.

Depending on the current position of the lower ladder WP (above or below the grill), you could also try placing it at the other side of the grill.
BTW, glad to hear there's another waypointer around.  Are you going to upload your waypoint pack here?

Yeah, my idea didnt really work. ill try your one.
Of course! it'll take me at least another week with all the maps i found that dont have waypoints, so maybe in 2 weeks, cause im going on holiday for 4 days at the end of this week (its monday here in australia).
The pack so far will have maps like, (my new favourite)fy_matrix, as_palace, as_riverside, cs_hoth, de_hoth2, de_strike, de_waterworks and about 20 more.

Oh yeah, as_palace is one great map. I don't know any of the others you mentioned, but I'm gonna check out your WP pack for sure as soon as it's ready.

Yeah I love palace too, and I'm not really a fan of AS, but this one is quite good, big, but no oilrig, but not iceworld either, just the right size, and pointing it was a sinch.
