Default Persistent Settings with RealBot - 19-07-2004

I've got two issues that I can't seem to troubleshoot:

1) Initially, when loading hlds in the console, I see that my realbot_control.cfg settings are executed (this is from executing a script in my server.cfg file):

Code:
tn_rbc_fillslots 10
realbot internet_interval 5 20
realbot roundlimit 5 20
realbot internet 1
realbot autoskill 1
However, upon the next refresh of RealBot in the colsole, it tells me that internet mode is disabled.

2) Even though I have generated personalities for all of my RealBots, when the bots are loaded in the game, I see that RealBot generates random personalities for them.

Appreciated any help that can be offered.

Martin

PS If anyone can also post their cstrike_english.txt file, it would be appreciated. I have the Cstrike_chat_all issue and deleting the file doesn't help.

I figure a printout from my hlds console might help a little more:

Code:

Rcon from 10.1.2.64:27005:
rcon 3198071048 "*****" realbot internet 1
L 07/20/2004 - 15:35:31: Rcon: "rcon 3198071048 "****" realbot internet 1" from "
10.1.2.64:27005"
============================================================================
REALBOT: Internet simulation - enabled.
============================================================================
L 07/20/2004 - 15:35:38: [TN-BC|realbot] number of taken slots: 10/10 (9 realbot
s)
============================================================================
REALBOT: Internet simulation - disabled.

Some more info:

1) I'm running Terran's RealBot Control plugin in AMX with WIP 9.

2) If I completely remove the realbot_control.cfg file from the AMX directory, no realbot commands get executed.

3) If I add the realbot commands to my server.cfg file, everything executes as normal, but once again after 10 seconds I see that realbot disables the autoskill and internet mode. What's odd is that in-game, autoskill is on (as in I can see - I kill a realbot, its score is 4. I kill the same bot, its score is now 3).

4) If I go in game and do rcon realbot internet 1, I see in the console on the server that internet simulation is enabled, however a few seconds later, realbot says that internet simulation is disabled.

So it looks like something, possibly in the control plugin, is resetting the config that I initialized earlier approx every 10 seconds.

try unloading the AMX plugin, perhaps that is the problem.
it's always best to get things as simple as possible, ie, only load the realbot plugin into metamod, and then work your way back to your current configuration.
