Default Floating Corpses - 09-04-2004

I'm using Realbot 1.0 on Steam and I've noticed that while I'm running a listen server with bots, player corpses (both humans and bots) kinda float in the air, sometimes with a knife-stab animation. How can I fix this?

thats caused by too many players spawning at the same time, otherwise know as Tele-Fragging

solveable by either reducing the number of spawns, or not using maps designed for 12 or under to play

Actually it happens any time a player is killed...it's not telefragging o_O

Yes, big deal. My view of other players/bots is often obstructed by these things.

I've had problems on my dedicated server about 2 months ago, players would float and stab air, and shields looked like they were hanging off one arm way to the side for cts, is this the same problem your having?

It went away after I had a steam update done for the server, i do not know what caused it but i dont think its bot related.

Yeah, that sounds like my problem, but it only happens when I'm running a server with bots...if I join any other server (with or without bots) then it doesn't happen. Other people who join my server can see it, too.

Yea its not your client installation, its your server installation, thats why other people see it too, and why when you go to another server its not there. I had that problem for long time all i can suggest is updating with hldsupdatetool.exe and see if it fixes it for you, it just went away one day for me after i did some updates. I also switched to amx mod 0.9.8 from 0.9.7 that could be solution too. If you take bots off your server, does that problem still exist? (It probalby does cuz i dont think its bot related).

I'm using the bots on a listen server, not a dedicated server. I'm not using amx mod, either

Edit: I tried it without bots by removing liblist.gam and the problem was still there...it never happened before I started using Realbot, so what could be causing it?
