Bot Lag..

hello guys, first time posting.. I like to play with bots on lan with my friends through my DSL at my house. I love Realbot it works great and is easy to do, my problem is that when I add 14+ bots the game lags.. alot. I have a fast computer so I know its not that and the cs 1.5 bots work great no lag.. but with the realbot 1.0 I'm getting that bad lag. I'm going through steam also if that matters. Any help would be great thanks!

which version are you using

AI or WIP, becasue WIP is tuned more

plus it isnt lag in the truest sense, its actually cycles, a bot no matter who makes it requries a lot of cycles.

i currentlly play with 2 bots (RealBot, CZ Bot (thats the official one you get when you buy CZ)) and my pc lags, but hten again i am running PHP, MySQL, CFM, ASP.NET, HLDS, and CS on one machine, (i cant be bothered installing things on my shuttle)

Hum sorry Ava3ar, but you can play with the cz bot on cs 1.5 or 1.6??
How does it work? With a dll as a metamod plugin or what??

How are you playing with CZ bots? They are not out yet are they?

i have my sources, and learnt part of a language in order to get them, (latvian)

Does steam allow you to use them online?

cz bot uses mp.dll

so in other words i just renamed czbot.dll to mp.dll

no cz cant be used online, if you want to connect (it trys and overwrite it)

if you are the host though then yes you can use them

If you talk about zbot, I have them too... the same as there were in the steam beta...

if your using v4 of zbot, then you dont have the voice capability now, lol

they now shout things like "help im being attacked" (and i mean use the radio, voice-com, not typing)

actually i think ill send some of the code to stefan so he can do that kind of thing, lol

the new zbots (v6)are the ones out of CZ
