EPd with 1.6 doesn't work

Hi,
i always used podbot 2.5 and later, with Metamod, the Podbot2.6 version (podbot_mm.dll). The metamod version works with my 1.6 Cs-version, but i want to give EPD a try.
I installed the newest Version of Epd (IV4b i guess...u know what i mean ^^), i opened cs, wanted to start a map and than cs crashes while the map is loading and a Xp-Errormessage is given to me: Couldn't read information from address: blaxblubblaa.......i would like to use epd with metamod (create new short cut, right?). plz help

First of all CS 1.6 the lan-version is illegal. You will have a warning after the admins see that post. Second EPB load metamod automatically. You don't need to add anythink it to the short cut.

illegal? lol cs is a lan game and the developer think lan shouldn't be supported anymore or what?

Back to the EPD: I isn't important whether i have metamod "installed" or not, the same error occures always (by the way: i know that epd loads the metamod....i love the search function ). Perhaps u can help me, would be nice

liblist.gam must load EPB.dll file. You don't need by any command lines in to the shortcut of the game. BTW CS 1.6 LAN version = Non Steam version = illegal. I don't tell that the legal version don't support LAN game but I think that your version is illegal from that you say in your first post.

In Cs 1.6 you can actually use the -dll parameter to specify the dll file to load.

also what the error message exactly is, and what the Dr.Watson reported ?

More about the "illegal" thing: Unlike previous versions of HL/CS, from CS 1.6 Valve used a strict DRM (Digital Restrictions/"Rights" Management) system named "Steam" which requires you connect to the Internet when you want to run the game, so that they can effectively control the game from being copied unauthorizedly. You can still run the game in LAN though, but you must use the Internet to get the Steam, and if the version you've got is not via Steam, it will be illegal. I don't think that's wrong or bad though, but you had better not to do so as you'll get into trouble - the above one is still a "small" one

.....yeah yeah me and my 56k modem are downloading steam, and 10 years later, when the download has finished, i have a funny outdated version on my pc........löl, that will be fine......ok now i know that it's illegal and i will try to fix it.

liblist.gam was changed by the bot (with liblist.gam is everything fine) & i have no additional parameters in my cs-shortcut: Cs crashes.
The errormessage: Couldn't read data from address 7xfunnynumbers. When i load metamod or for example the joebot.dll via liblist.gam everything works fine.

I don't know this kind of error massege. However do you use any plugins with metamod ?

Yes, but the errormessage also occures when i don't integrate metamod!?!

If you are using the oldest version of cs 1.6 then it's normal, EPB won't run on that version.
