Default Can connecting Human kick out a bot - 28-05-2004

Hi,

I'm trying to configure my server as follow:
At startup 2 vs 2 both bots.
when a human player begin to [dis]connecet it would be fine:
when for each connecting/disconnecting human player one bot leave or respawn.
So when 4 humans are connectet none bot is left.

How to build the Realbot config for this ??????

Thx for help and the Bots 9_9

if you are running the current wip, you can use
Code:
realbot server players 4
this will make it so that it keeps 4 players in the server at any one time, given a 'fudge' factor of course

Hi,

Im a little bit confused about the versions

for my _linux_ dedicated Server i only found WIP#9
which returns for command

realbot server players 2

this

================================================== ==========================
RBSERVER: Invalid sub-command.
Valid commands are: broadcast (version/kill)

================================================== ==========================

a latest Version *mm_I386.so would be fine

sorry if it could be, that I was to stupid finding it 9_9

Thx,

just found it.

seems to be linked dynamic.
got an Error missing "libstdc++.so.5" :'(

A static linked version would be fine

Thanks a lot ...

you can install the GCC and it should be no problem.

Yup,

an 'apt-get install gcc-3.0' kills the error lib*.so not found
but brings up symbol not found.

And now I stand here looking, wondering and knowing nothing
And befor the remote-hosted system will be dead-configured I'll stop and wait for a final release.

THX

And frankly, I have no clue on how to link a .so (shared object) with static libraries. Looks conflicting to me

BTW, which is the symbol which is not found?

A friend of mine told me
- Debian is alwas late with new Versions
- the gcc versions are not compatible each other

Seems I have two and a half way 9_9

- Installing the same gcc version as you, which gcc is used?
- Compiling it on my own, are the sources free?

- thinking about my quickshot with the static one :o
(was just a half thought building a *.a, I'm thinking you are right there is no clue to do this)

yea, the source is free.
you can get it from CVS
there are instructions on the wiki for that.
gcc version 2.95 works
as does gcc 3.2
