Default stupid bots - 26-03-2004

Well...I finally got my "NUM_FOR_EDICT: badpointer" error on planting the bomb fixed. Thanks for the help assholes. Anyway, new problem. I now have bots running everywhere and getting stuck all the time on larger maps. And on any size map they seem to run backwards or just keep running.

-Thanks in advance for the help.

Running backwards, in my experience, means that the CT bots are following the T's path, or vice-versa. Best thing I can suggest is to delete your map experience files, and add 1 bot to the other team, play a few rounds with him being lost and confused, then swap teams. (Remove, change teams, add.)
The new bot should see all your paths you took, and follow them properly. Now do the same thing for the team you're on. Play a few rounds, completing objectives, then finally add a few more bots and see how they handle your paths.

Note:
On very small maps like fy_iceworld2k, the bots don't seem to pick up the proper paths, and LOVE running backwards into a guy waiting with an M4A1.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
